Con-Trol-Cure TFC 9000 tests coatings to ensure that they are curing consistently. The calorimeter quickly measures the exothermic heat reaction from a polymerizing sample through a highly sensitive sensor. It rapidly analyzes the incoming data to produce meaningful results. After the 10- to 20-sec sample analysis, the product displays four key measured test results: time to reach peak temperature, peak temperature in BTUs, slope of the temperature rise and total energy emitted by curing reaction in BTUs. The device works as a stand-alone measurement system or can be connected to a computer through a serial port. The captured data can be exported and plotted to an Excel graph for easy analysis.
