SICO's environmental management system at its Longueuil (QC) facility has been certified to the ISO 14001 Standard by one of the North America leading management system registrars (QMI).

"Achieving ISO 14001 registration shows our deep commitment to our employees, our customers, our suppliers and the communities in which we live and work for environmental, health and safety issues," says Pierre Dufresne, president and CEO, SICO Inc.

To achieve ISO 14001 certification, a company must establish and maintain a detailed environmental management system that allows companies to identify and take the required actions to reduce environmental and health risks, and consistently improves the company's environmental performance.
