Model 456 high temperature Plug-In Integral Probe (PINIP) is designed for use with the company's 456 coating thickness gauge, and can accurately measure coating thickness on surfaces up to 450°F. The PINIP screws into the base of the gauge to transform it into an integral unit for single-handed operations. It includes high temperature calibration shims. With high temperatures affecting the properties of metal, the ability to calibrate directly on the hot surface allows for the highest level of accuracy. Shims are supplied in sizes of 200 mils and 50 mils.
