Troy Corp. announced a price increase on its full line of Troykyd defoamers. This price increase reflects the continued escalation of costs for petroleum and other raw materials, energy, logistics, transportation and packaging. BASF's Coatings Technical Support Center in Whitehouse, Ohio, recently marked more than 1 million hours of operation without a recordable injury or work-related illness. According to Ken Perry, technical director at BASF Automotive Refinish, 1 million hours represents more than three-and-a-half years of continuous operation at the site, which employs approximately 140 people.
