RadTech, the association for ultraviolet (UV) and electron beam (EB)processes, will highlight the technology's enabling power for manufacturers at e/5 2006, the world's largest UV and EB technology exposition and conference, April 24-26, 2006, at McCormick Place in Chicago.

At e/5 2006, technologists from around the world will present more than 200 papers detailing the science and application of UV and EB. Nanotechnology, the use of LEDs and a special full day devoted to technical developments from Japan in simultaneous translation highlight the technical program. Application areas include aerospace defense and homeland security, automotive, auto refinish, flexible electronics, food packaging, plastics, inkjet, metal finishing and wood.

A TechCell displaying a range of UV- and EB-enabled applications will be on display, as well as over 100 exhibitions with the latest equipment, raw materials and chemistry.
