Asymtek has named Frank Wang to the position of general manager, China. Wang is responsible for all facilities, operations, sales and support services for Asymtek’s dispensing products and systems in China. Wang has 20 years of experience in the semiconductor capital equipment, electronics and industrial automation industries. He joined Asymtek in 2004 as China regional business manager. Prior to Asymtek, Wang held positions in business operations, product sales and marketing, and technical support at multinational companies in the U.S. and Europe, including Applied Materials and Siemens.

Leonard E. Poole
Automotive Technical Sales Manager, Soliant LLC

Soliant, LLC has named Leonard E. Poole to the position of automotive technical sales manager. Poole brings more than eight years of advanced development, engineering and account management experience in the decorative film and insert molding industry. He developed and engineered more than 150 different thermoformed and injection molded decorative automotive parts, tooling and production programs with his former employer, the In-Mold division of Display Pack, Inc. He also brings additional plastics expertise and value with his formal education, which includes a bachelor’s of science degree in plastics engineering technology from Ferris State University. Poole will work from his office in Grand Rapids, MI, serving automotive customers in the Michigan area and throughout the world.

Edward W. Moore
Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, RPM International Inc.

Edward W. Moore has joined RPM International Inc. as vice president, general counsel and secretary. He succeeds and will report to P. Kelly Tompkins, who was recently promoted to executive vice president and chief administrative officer. Moore was previously a partner with Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP, where he was co-chair of the Securities and Capital Markets Group. In this capacity, he has represented issuers and underwriters in more than 75 public securities offerings, including more than 15 initial public stock offerings. RPM has been among his significant client responsibilities for more than 20 years. Within the firm, he had primary responsibility for RPM’s securities law and corporate governance matters, as well as oversight responsibility for RPM-related acquisition, employee benefits, real estate, environmental and litigation matters.

F. Thomas Krotine
President and CEO, Ecology Coatings Inc.

Ecology Coatings Inc. has hired industry veteran F. Thomas Krotine as president and chief executive officer. With more than 35 years of industry experience at Fortune 500 companies and small businesses, Krotine will apply his specific expertise in coatings commercialization, business process optimization and new business development to his new position at Ecology Coatings. Former CEO Richard Stromback will transition to a new leadership role as chairman of the growing coatings company.

Krotine served most recently as chairman and lead investor of CV Materials, a supplier of porcelain enamel materials - a turn-around situation that resulted in a successful acquisition of the company by its primary competitor. Prior to his role at CV Materials, Krotine was the manager and principal investor of TK Holdings, which he formed to acquire equity holdings in small to medium-sized manufacturing companies. Before that, he served as vice president at Valspar Corp., where he managed the company’s Canadian business and North American powder coating business. Krotine also spent 10 years as a senior vice president at Sherwin-Williams Co., where he was responsible for technology management and corporate environmental and health compliance. Krotine holds a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and Ph.D. in metallurgy and materials science from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he has served on the Board of Trustees.

Paul Dempster
Sales Manager, MS Powder Systems

MS Powder Systems, Inc., a Swiss and U.S.-based powder equipment manufacturer, has appointed Paul Dempster as sales manager for Canada and the northern U.S. Dempster brings more than three decades of powder coating experience, including specialized expertise in the areas of non-conductive (including medium density fiberboard [MDF]) finishing, glass coating and the application of powders to plastics. Dempster’s previous experience has included major new business development, and the management of international sales organizations within the powder coating field.
