Price increases will be effective immediately or as contracts allow. According to the company, these price increases result from further significant increases in raw material and energy costs over the last months. In addition, the closing of several raw material production plants in China to limit environmental impact, as well as the recent reduction of export tax rebates in China, has led to major additional price increases for certain raw materials.
