The Industrial Heating Equipment Association (IHEA), in conjunction with the Electrotechnologies Application Center (ETAC) of Northampton Community College, has announced that registration for its online Process Heating Course scheduled for the fall 2007 semester will open on August 6. Launched just a year ago, two on-line courses are now being offered: Fundamentals of Industrial Process Heating, a six week course; and Advanced Industrial Process Heating, a nine week course. The start date for both courses is September 10 for the fall semester. Both courses are conducted completely online. Course books with a CD are sent to students prior to the start of the course. Students and the course instructor interact regularly online for the duration of the course. 1.6 continuing education unit (CEU) credits will be given for passing each course the Fundamentals course and 2.4 CEU credits are given for passing the Advanced course.
