Oxea will increase list and off-list prices on intermediates in the Americas effective March 1, 2012, or as contracts allow. In the United States, Canada and Mexico, the price increase for i/n Butanol will be $0.15/lb (list price, Zone 1: $1.73/lb); i/n butyl acetate will increase $0.10/lb (list price, Zone 1: $1.46); n butyraldehyde will increase $0.15/lb (list price, Zone 1: $1.74); n propanol will increase $0.05/lb (list price, Zone 1: $1.40/lb); and n propyl acetate will increase $0.05/lb (list price, Zone 1: $1.38/lb). In South and Central America, i/n butanol will increase $330/mt, i/n butyl acetate will increase $220/mt, n propanol and n propyl acetate will increase $110/mt. 

Additionally, Oxea will implement a 100-percent sales control on all products in the Intermediates portfolio, effective immediately. The sales control will be based on the average monthly consumption over the last six months or as allowed by contract.

In Europe, n-butylamine will increase EUR 60/mt, di-n-butylamine will increase EUR 70/mt, tri-n-butylamine will increase EUR 80/mt, 2-ethylhexylamine will increase EUR 70/mt, di-2-ethylhexylamine will increase EUR 80/mt, and mono-iso-propylamine will increase EUR 100/mt. 

In Asia and Latin America, n-butylamine will increase $90/mt, di-n-butylamine will increase $100/mt, tri-n-butylamine will increase $110/mt, 2-ethylhexylamine will increase $100/mt, di-2-ethylhexylamine will increase $110/mt, and mono-iso-propylamine will increase $140/mt. 

In the United States, n-butylamine will increase $0.04/lb, di-n-butylamine will increase $0.05/lb, tri-n-butylamine will increase $0.05/lb, 2-ethylhexylamine will increase $0.05/lb, di-2-ethylhexylamine will increase $0.05/lb, and mono-iso-propylamine will increase $0.06/lb.
