BARCELONA, Spain - Eurocoat 2012 is taking place October 2-4, 2012, at the Palau de Congressos in Barcelona, Spain. The three-day event brings together manufacturers and distributors of paint, printing inks, varnish, glue and adhesives. While initially focused on markets in southern Europe and North Africa, Eurocoat now plays host to a growing number of international stakeholders in the coating industry in China, Japan, Iran and more broadly in the Middle East countries.

Eurocoat is organized with the cooperation and support of Spanish, Italian and French professional associations and combines a professional trade show with a technical and scientific congress, making it the ideal platform for business and trade, science and industry.

New to this event, Eurocoat is providing an online appointment scheduling system that will allow participation in the trade show to be optimized in advance with targeted, constructive meetings. It will help visitors who would not otherwise have time to meet both their current suppliers and new prospects, and it will result in exhibitors having an even better matched selection of visitors.

Another new addition will be workshops lasting 15 minutes (Euroclips Classics) and 45 minutes (Euroclips Premium), where visitors and exhibitors can explore technical solutions, listen to the experiences of others and find out about innovations in products and processes.

Finally, as in 2011, Barcelona will also host the award ceremony for the Innovation Competition. The competition will comprise three categories: equipment, services and green innovations.
