INDIANAPOLIS – Specialty chemicals company Vertellus Specialties Inc., Indianapolis, has selected two new distribution partners.

HORN Essentials has been named the company’s distribution partner in the West and Southwest United States. Vertellus will work with customers and the team at HORN Essentials to achieve a smooth and effective transition in the western region, which includes California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Colorado and Montana, and the southwest region, which includes Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.  

The product lines HORN Essentials will represent for Vertellus include Crystal^® brand castor oils, Castorwax^® hydrogenated castor oil, Naturechem^® esters, Sulfidal^® colloidal sulfur, Casid^® brand 12-HSA and Castorlatum^® ointment base.

Vertellus Specialties has selected ChemPoint.com (ChemPoint) as the exclusive distributor of CITROFLEX^® esters in the United States. ChemPoint will manage order placement and fulfillment for CITROFLEX esters and will also provide technical assistance and support.

CITROFLEX esters are based on natural citric acid raw material, which is mainly derived from the fermentation of corn. They offer a broad range of benefits when used as plasticizers, solvent alternatives, lubricant additives and performance enhancers in aqueous and solvent-based polymer formulations.
