CARY, NC - Effective February 10, 2013, or as contracts allow, Arkema Coating Resins will increase pricing on all solventborne and powder coating resins sold in North America.

Chempol^® acrylics and Coroc^® additives will increase by $0.07-$0.09 per lb, while Chempol alkyds, polyesters and oils, and Synaqua^® alkyd dispersions will increase by $0.04 to $0.07 per lb.

Reafree^® polyester powder resins will increase by $0.05 to $0.07 per lb.

This action is necessary due to escalation in the cost of raw materials and transportation for solventborne and powder products.
