MORRISVILLE, PA - Gelest Inc., Morrisville, PA, has made a number of new appointments and promotions to support its growth as a manufacturer and supplier of silane, silicone and metal-organic compounds.

Greg Hertenberger has joined Gelest as Product Manager Silanes and Metal-Organics. His responsibilities include development of new business for Gelest’s range of functional and non-functional alkyl silane compounds and for the company’s expanded range of metal-organic compounds for materials, polymers and synthesis.

Matthew Suits has joined Gelest as Facilities Manager. His responsibilities include managing new construction for Gelest as well as its maintenance department. Previously, he was an Engineering and Process Manager at PB Leiner Gelatins in Davenport, IA.

Sean Nichols has joined Gelest as Purchasing Manager, responsible for the procurement of raw materials for Gelest’s manufacturing operations.  He comes to the company following a five-year tenure as Operations Manager in the manufacturing division of Haas Group International, West Chester, PA.

Adrien Salomon has been promoted to Production Manager with responsibility for managing day-to-day production activities and staff. He has been with Gelest since 2004.

William Fry, who came to Gelest in 2010 as Assistant Controller, has been promoted to Controller.

Greg Vuk, who started with Gelest as a packer in 1999, has been promoted to Logistics Manager.
