CHARLESTON, SC – Paint and coating manufacturer Quest Specialty Chemicals, Charleston, SC, has appointed Marjorie (Marj) Shymske President of Quest Construction Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quest Specialty Chemicals.

Shymske, an established leader in the building materials industry, has over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and management, with an emphasis on assembling effective teams and successful business expansion. In her role as President, Shymske will focus on Quest Construction Products’ long-term vision and strategy, while enhancing current business processes.

Prior to joining Quest Construction Products, Shymske served as President and CEO of Victor Oolitic Stone Co. She led the successful turnaround and transformation of the firm, from Chapter 11 status through subsequent equity offering and merger. During her 27-year career with Owens Corning, she served in several sales management roles, including Director of Sales.
