CLEVELAND - NSL Analytical Services Inc. recently invested over $1,600,000 for the purchase and renovation of an 11,800-square-foot building situated on an acre of land in Warrensville Heights, an eastern suburb of Cleveland. This move expands the NSL Metallurgical Testing division of NSL Analytical, an independent commercial testing laboratory.

The new NSL Metallurgical Testing facility houses machining, mechanical testing and microscopy as well as administrative support staff. In total, NSL Analytical's two facilities comprise 67 employees, and the company has an aggressive growth plan chartered over the next seven years. The new NSL Metallurgical Lab is located at 4535 Renaissance Parkway, Warrensville Heights, Ohio.

Testing equipment and instrumentation recently acquired for NSL Metallurgical Testing include: Instron 300LX-J1 hydraulic universal testing machine, Buehler Isomet 4000 linear precision saw, Okuma CNC Lathe - GENOS L250E, automated micro-hardness tester with Clemex Camera and imaging software, W.F.Wells Model H-2024-3 semi-automatic horizontal band saw, Hass TM-3P CNC Toolroom mill, Leica M125 stereomicroscope and imaging software, and Tinius Olsen impact tester Model IT406.  

NSL Analytical also invested in LIMS LABVANTAGE 6 (LV6), one of the most advanced Laboratory Information Management Systems available that is geared toward improving internal processes and external communications with customers.
