AKRON, OH – APV Engineered Coatings, a manufacturer and marketer of coatings and chemical products, has hired Lars Larsen as its new International Sales Director. Larsen most recently worked as an industry consultant and advisor in his role as President and owner of Know Polymers Inc. Prior to his consulting work, he spent 31 years with Struktol Co. of America, a manufacturer of process additives for the plastics and rubber industries.

In his new position, Larsen will be working directly with the company's international distributors to help grow sales across all product lines.

Larsen is a member of The American Chemical Society and the author of numerous technical papers. He has been a guest lecturer on industry topics at The University of Akron and is an accomplished speaker and presenter.
