BNP Media Becomes Authorized Provider of IACET CEUs
TROY, MI - The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has awarded BNP Media (PCI Magazine’s publishing company) the prestigious Authorized Provider accreditation. IACET Authorized Providers are the only organizations approved to offer IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The accreditation period extends for five years and includes all programs offered or created during that time.
“BNP Media’s new partnership with IACET is a demonstration of our commitment to lifelong learning and high standards for all of our programs,” says Michelle Hucal, Director of Content Deployment.
Being an IACET Authorized Provider gives BNP Media the opportunity to offer continuing education units (CEUs). IACET CEUs are transferrable and recognized by a wide range of organizations in almost every industry served by BNP Media brands, including professional associations, regulatory boards, state boards, corporations and universities.
BNP Media currently offers a variety of webinars, live events, distance learning classes and articles to the audiences of multiple BNP Media brands through CE Campus. BNP Media will also continue to offer CEUs to the AEC community as an American Institute of Architects (AIA) and U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) education provider.
“We are proud of our high-quality educational programs that currently train over 12,300 architects, engineers, contractors, security professionals, building contractors and other professionals each year on important topics through a variety of formats within our CE Campus platform,” says Hucal. “By meeting the IACET standards as an Authorized Provider, we will be able to offer even more educational opportunities in more of the industries we serve.”
In order to achieve Authorized Provider accreditation, BNP Media completed a rigorous application process, including a review by an IACET site visitor, and successfully demonstrated adherence to the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard addressing the design, development, administration and evaluation of its programs. BNP Media has pledged its continued compliance with the standard, and is now authorized to use the IACET name and Authorized Provider logo on promotional course material. In addition, BNP Media is now linked to the IACET website and is recognized as offering the highest quality continuing education and training programs.
