SAN DIEGO - Don Sundberg, Professor Emeritus of the University of New Hampshire and President of Emulsion Polymers Consulting and Education LLC, and Professor Raymond H. Fernando of CalPoly are offering a workshop on rheology fundamentals and applications for synthetic latices and associated coatings formulations. This three-day interactive workshop deals with the rheological characteristics of synthetic latices as they are produced via the emulsion polymerization process and used in formulated coating dispersions.

The workshop will take place October 27-29, 2014, at the San Diego Training and Conference Center in San Diego. It is designed for those who use laboratory, pilot and/or commercial-scale reactors to make latex for use in coating formulations, pressure-sensitive adhesives, caulks and sealants. It is also for those who purchase latex for use in their own formulated dispersions for similar applications.
