ASHTABULA, OH – After tenures spanning decades, two longtime employees at Chromaflo Technologies Corp., a global provider of colorant technologies, retired this past June. The retired employees are Jeff Lewis, Global Director of Quality Systems and Technology Transfer, and Selby Brannon, Technology Director – Americas.

Lewis began his career with Plasticolors Inc. as a Production Operator and went on to hold supervisor and management roles in areas ranging from product development to laboratory management and corporate training in his 41-year career. In all of his roles, Lewis most enjoyed the opportunity to build relationships with new colleagues and global counterparts.

“My favorite task has always been training and teaching,” said Lewis, who has spent the last several years traveling around the world educating colleagues about thermoset products and implementing Lean Six Sigma training. “I have enjoyed the travel and learning about different cultures and people around the world.”

Like Lewis, Brannon began his career with Plasticolors, serving as an Analytical and Color Systems Manager, and later holding titles including Manager of Research and Development, Technical Director, and Business Manager – Coatings. He has worn many different hats during his 30 years with the company and contributed to milestones such as opening the analytical lab at corporate headquarters in Ashtabula, OH, and leading the development of new innovations in dispersion products.

“I have had a great career,” he said. “I have met and worked with many great people, and I am delighted to have spent the bulk of my business time here in Ashtabula, Ohio.”
