A new UVA band ultraviolet LED light from Maxxeon Inc. allows an operator to easily cure surfaces and substrates that cannot be brought to UV curing equipment, and without needing a local a/c power source. The tool has a compact, lightweight form function and is rechargeable, with a total run time of two hours between charging.

Features include: instant on with no warm-up period needed, movable light head, magnetic mounting capability, retractable hook for tool suspension, two-level power selection, removable belt clip and tripod mount capability.

The tool can cure standard UV adhesive, as well as curing shallow-depth potting applications, wire tacking/strain relief and field repair of conformal coating on PC boards.
