Perstorp is aligning with the new industry standard for product carbon footprint (PCF), developed by the industrial initiative, Together for Sustainability.
Agilis, a provider of digital commerce solutions for the chemical industry, and SpecialChem, a materials selection platform, announced a partnership to bring to market a cloud-based product information management (PIM) system designed specifically for the chemical industry.
“We are delighted to have completed this acquisition. The acquisition is part of our stepping-out strategy, creating a new platform for our growth in the specialty chemicals industry," said PCG managing director and chief executive officer, Ir. Mohd Yusri Mohamed Yusof.
The partnership will "provide customers with formulation and application solutions to take a leading position in the polyurethane market,” said Anna Diretto, Vencorex regional sales manager for the United States and Canada.
“In addition to broad international finance and business experience, the new CFO will bring extensive strategic funding and project financing expertise – a valuable and relevant background in the context of Avantium’s business plan," said Avantium CEO Tom van Aken.
This portfolio addition enables Azelis to further grow its footprint in the Indian industrial chemicals market, while also building upon the successful distribution partnership between the two companies.
Sustainable solutions provider Perstorp further strengthens its commitment towards significantly reducing its environmental impact by releasing two new 2030 sustainability targets for (eco) toxicity.
