2026 Student Poster Session

Participants will present posters on coatings, polymers, inks, adhesives, or related materials to showcase innovative work and gain feedback from industry experts. This platform highlights emerging talent, encourages collaboration, and offers recognition for outstanding research in the coatings field, giving students a valuable opportunity to engage with professionals and advance their careers in the industry.

Poster Presentations

September 16th, 2026

Each student will prepare and present a poster of their research. Students will have the opportunity to showcase their posters and network with attendees in person. Posters will be displayed during lunch and the afternoon break on Wednesday, Sept. 16.

Student Presentation Competition

Thanks to our generous sponsor, Elinor Coatings, cash prizes will be awarded for the first ($500), second ($250) and third-place ($125) posters. The winners will be announced during the evening reception on September 16.

Winners will also be recognized in an article on the PCI and the CTT Summit websites.

Evaluation Criteria

Student presentations will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Delivery of the presentation
  • Originality of work, including new concepts and innovations
  • Organization and structure of presentation/poster
  • Quality of data and materials (clarity, use of graphics, etc.)
  • Communication of content by presenter
  • Research and analysis techniques
  • Completeness of work or project
