Axalta Debuts Color of the Year Video, Launches On-Line Contest Celebrating Radiant Red
GLEN MILLS, PA – Axalta Coating Systems is wrapping up a celebration of its 2015 Automotive Color of the Year, Radiant Red, with a video that highlights many car enthusiasts’ love of the vibrant hue.
The video takes viewers on a journey with stops at color hotspots across the country, including Mid America Trucking Show, Franklin Institute Science Festival and Detroit’s Woodward Dream Cruise. Axalta is inviting the public to join in on the celebration by offering viewers an opportunity to win a limited edition No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet SS Radiant Red die-cast car, autographed by four-time NASCAR® Cup Series champion, Jeff Gordon. Axalta's 2015 Automotive Color of the Year premiered at the 2014 SEMA show in Las Vegas last November. Gordon then debuted the paint scheme at Phoenix International Raceway.
“Axalta’s Color of the Year campaign was designed to share our color expertise with an array of automotive customers,” said Axalta’s Head of Corporate Affairs-North America, Lisa Miree-Luke. “We received a tremendous consumer response to the color. This video captures some of that excitement, and as we approach year end, it’s a nice tribute to Radiant Red, our inaugural automotive color of the year.”
Axalta’s 2016 Automotive Color of the Year will be announced in January at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
