Shaw Paints Hosts Painters Pit Stop to Test Benjamin Moore Paint
SLOUGH, UK – The exclusive UK distributor of Benjamin Moore® paint, Shaw Paints Ltd., Slough, UK, invited nine members of popular professional painter and decorator forum, Painters Pit Stop, to its warehouse and Professional Application Centre.
Benjamin Moore products have been available to the UK market since September 2015. Shaw Paints welcomed the nine professionals from different areas of the country, including forum coordinator Tim Peters, to its Professional Application Centre to take part in an arranged testing program.
After an introduction to the brand and tour of the warehouse and application center, the visitors were encouraged to test a number of products from the range, including the best-selling Aura Interior and Exterior, the new Advance Fresh Start High Hide Primer, Aura Bath and Spa, Ultra Flat Ceiling Paint, all in a number of different finishes.
Commenting on the visit, Peters said, “This is a great program for anyone who wishes to test out the Benjamin Moore paints. The Professional Application Centre has an abundance of wall area to paint as well as doors and other woodwork/trim to test out the Grand Entrance paints, and you will be run through every detail you wish to know about the range.”
Peters commented that the visitors were especially impressed with the covering power of the Aura paint range, which allowed them to apply dark colors over white and white colors over dark in no more than two coats. They were also impressed with the color range offered by the Benjamin Moore products.
Shaw Paints will be arranging further testing days around the country in the future, where professional painters and decorators will be invited to test all manner of Benjamin Moore products.
