TORONTO — Siltech Corp., a producer of specialty organo-modified silicones, has significantly expanded its production capabilities at its Mississauga, Ontario, location. This includes the addition of several 20,000L high-temperature reactors and brings the total annual capacity to over 40,000 tons. The expansion also includes the addition of a 17,000-square-foot warehouse and was necessary to meet the growing demand for the company’s specialty products.

Dag Enhorning, President of Siltech, said, “As we continue to expand our product portfolio and customer base in North America, Europe and Asia, this additional capacity is necessary to meet our customer’s increasing demand for our products. It is important that we continue to invest back into the business to stay ahead of our growth demands.”

Siltech, headquartered in Toronto, develops and manufactures specialty silicones for many diverse applications and markets, including inks and coatings.
