Burgess Pigment Expands Territory of JNS-SmithChem
PATERSON, NJ — Burgess Pigment Co. has expanded the distribution territory of JNS-SmithChem to include Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and New York State (except Buffalo) for its kaolin-based pigments, effective Jan. 1, 2019. Burgess is one of the leading suppliers of kaolin products, from the naturally occurring mineral kaolinite, used in hundreds of applications.

The Burgess Pigments kaolins are used for a variety of applications, including paints and coatings, inks, sealants and adhesives, concrete, cement, plastics, and rubber. “This is a perfect fit for the markets we serve,” said Robert Whiteley, Executive Vice President, JNS-Smithchem. “We have a full line of minerals, and kaolin is an important part of the mix of products we offer our customers.”
