AKRON, OH – The newest VYNGUARD^® formulation from APV Engineered Coatings has been recognized by the coatings industry in the inaugural PaintSquare Prestige Award as the Top Product winner in the award program’s Specialty Function Coatings category.

VYNGUARD Polycarbonate Anti-Microbial, launched to OEMs in June, is a factory-applied coating technology designed to resist degradation caused by gram-negative and positive bacteria on coating flexible vinyl and PVC surfaces. The top finish is engineered to extend the aesthetics and service life of vinyl products by protecting the substrate from developing mildew, mold, bacteria and pink staining. It also has exceptional UV protection and a soft hand-feel.
