Notes: In February 2018, BASF’s Coatings division launched new product lines in Europe for its Glasurit^® and R-M^® refinish paint brands that make automotive refinishing more sustainable. The Surface Treatment global business unit of the Coatings division of BASF, operating under the Chemetall brand, is investing in a surface treatment site in the Dushan Port Economic Development Zone of Pinghu, Zhejiang Province, China. With completion planned for 2021, the site will house production, warehousing, a state-of-the-art laboratory and administrative offices. Also in 2018, BASF’s Coatings division opened a new laboratory for automotive OEM coatings at its site in Münster, Germany.
