WESTPORT, CT/MEXICO CITY - INVISTA has authorized Megafarma, an Azelis company, to distribute its DYTEK® Specialty Amine portfolio in Mexico. This includes DYTEK Amine, DYTEKDCH-99, DYTEKHMI, and DYTEKBHMT products. With this new agreement, Megafarma’s CASE Division will serve customers across Mexico with the INVISTA DYTEK Specialty Amine portfolio. The agreement is effective June 1, 2020.

The new agreement continues to build on Azelis’ strategic acquisition of Megafarma to expand into the Latin American CASE market. It aligns with Azelis’ corporate strategy of organic growth and solidifies the growth of Azelis Americas and Megafarma through the expansion of relationships of key principals into Mexico. The agreement leverages existing Azelis Americas CASE assets, including application labs, digital platforms, and technical and market intelligence, in the Mexican market.

Martin Hernandez Gutiérrez, Director General at Megafarma, commented, “Now that we are part of the Azelis family, this agreement is an example of our commitment to expand into the CASE sector and become a leading distributor with unsurpassed quality, logistics and technical support for our customers and principals.”

Dan Gruber, Managing Director, Principal Development, Azelis Americas CASE, said, “We have a longstanding relationship with INVISTA in the U.S. The expansion of our relationship into the Mexican market allows us to deliver the same value and growth that we have provided INVISTA in the U.S.”

“INVISTA is excited to move forward with Megafarma representing our DYTEK Specialty Amines,” said Kris Mitchell, DYTEK Specialties Global Business Director. “Megafarma will support our existing and new customers in Mexico via local inventory, technical assistance and local sales representatives in every region of Mexico.”
