Organizers of Eastern Coatings Show Issue Call for Technical Papers
CUMBERLAND, RI — Organizers of the Eastern Coatings Show (ECS) are seeking submissions from academia, government and industry, presenting novel research results in all aspects of industrial coating technology for presentations at its biennial conference, which will be held June 9-11, 2021, at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Technical papers will be presented during show hours June 9-11, 2021. The ECS Technical Committee will be responsible for coordinating the agenda and logistics of all speakers. The goal of the Eastern Coatings Show is to further the advancement of coatings technology and offer educational and technical presentations to create an understanding of the theory, science, manufacturing and marketing of coatings and to highlight the improvement of coatings performance and functionality beyond traditional expectations.
Industry professionals should provide an abstract for their presentation, biography and photograph to Carl Sullivan (csullivan@stanchem-inc.com) no later than Jan. 31, 2021. Incomplete submissions will not be considered for a speaker slot.
Acceptance letters will be sent by Feb. 15, 2021. The presentation schedule will be published no later than March 1, 2021.
Speakers whose presentations are accepted for the conference will provide the PowerPoint presentation to Carl Sullivan on or before March 19, 2019. Copies of the presentations will be distributed to attendees, so each presenter should include his or her permission or denial along with their presentation deck.
The ECS Technical Committee will review presentations based on their technical content and contribution to furthering the advancement of coatings technology. The presentation format should be as close to a short course as possible. Presentations providing educational insights about emerging technology will be given priority. Although a company logo may appear on the slides, it is not appropriate for a presentation to be overly promotional or laden with trade names. Presentations should be no less than 20 minutes and no longer than 30 minutes.
