ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) recently announced a call for speakers for the 2021 Adhesive & Sealant Convention, taking place Oct. 25-27 at the Omni Orlando Resort in Championsgate, Florida. Any new technology, market intelligence or timely topics relevant to the adhesive and sealant industry will be considered. The deadline for submitting a paper is July 9, 2021.

Presentation topics include the following:  market/adhesives development; building and construction; electronics; packaging, hygiene market applications; waterborne adhesives, formula, testing applications; key feedstocks; oil, gas and bio-based feedstocks; upstream economics; propylene and ethylene development and outlook; end-user business needs; trends and market dynamics in the packaging segment; market drivers and unmet needs in the hygiene market; market information and what is driving the use of adhesives in the DIY market; sustainability approaches; bio-based, recycle, materials, materials, methods, processes and market disruptors; market disruptors — novel technology, chemistries or utilization; regulatory issues; developing a positive safety culture; regulatory compliance in a virtual workplace; key state chemical regulations; regulatory priorities of the Biden Administration.

Additionally, New Product Introduction Sessions offer exhibiting companies the opportunity to present new products recently introduced with corresponding formulation and use data. Presentations should be grounded in presenters' research experience. Promotional conversations are permissible; however, products or services may not be sold at the conference venue. There will be six slots available and confirmed on a first-come-first-serve basis.
