GREEN BAY, WI — ASI, a division of Thermal Technologies Inc., has been chosen to supply the drying system for a new construction materials line for a global, multibillion-dollar company. The three-zone, arched roll support drying system will be designed to dry both waterborne and solventborne coatings on a wide rubber web (>190 inches). The drying system will be over 40’ long, 18’ wide and will be heated by natural gas plenums. It will have a retraction system that allows for the upper section of the dryer to move upwards 18 inches for access to the dryer’s interior for web-up, cleaning and maintenance. The dryer will have ASI’s standard PLC-based controls package that allows for continuous monitoring and automatic adjustments based on programmed operating parameters.
