Spartek Commissions Sustainable Coating System from SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES
SPARTA, WI — SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES announced the successful installation of the first DECOLINE II in North America at Spartek Inc., an industry leader in the spirits closures and cosmetic packaging markets. Spartek has over 60 years of experience in every aspect of the plastics industry. The company’s capabilities include, inline metallization and coating services, traditional vacuum metallizing, injection molding, assembly, and post decoration services.
George Park IV, Chief Executive Officer of Spartek, explained why the company selected the DECOLINE II, “The simplicity of product flow between each module without cross contamination from one step to the next is unlike anything I have seen before.”
With the installation of the DECOLINE II, Spartek has three inline metallizing and coating lines in use for production. “The DECOLINE II robotic spray stations and part cleaning module provide us increased quality standards and new and exciting manufacturing capabilities,” said Park.
“The DECOLINE II by SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES integrates the metallization in vacuum (sputtering) as well as all lacquering and pre-processing steps in one production run and, in this course, moves the components automatically through all processing steps,” explained Dr.-Ing. Stefan Rinck, Chief Executive Officer of the SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG.
The DECOLINE II was designed to efficiently use resources and avoid unnecessary CO2 pollution, which aligns with Spartek Inc.'s move towards more sustainable manufacturing.
