American Chemical Solutions Appoints Chairman of the Board
MUSKEGON, MI – American Chemical Solutions (ACS) recently announced the appointment of Jeremy Venter, Ph.D., to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors. In his new role, Venter will lead the board of directors and will provide, oversight, guidance and mentorship to the management team in the development and execution of ACS’ strategic growth plan.

Venter has over three decades of experience working and consulting in the specialty chemicals manufacturing industry. Throughout his career, he has helped organizations achieve growth and transformational objectives in manufacturing and process safety to conduct buy- and sell-side operational due diligence during acquisitions, and to perform organizational assessments to identify and drive performance improvements in process safety management systems, manufacturing excellence, and new product development/scale-up/manufacturing.

Venter retired from Dow Chemical in 2019 as a Global Process Technology and Technology Center Director for Advanced Polymers in Dow Coatings Materials. He was responsible for directing organizations within six Dow businesses with a total revenue of $6 billion. Prior to Dow Chemical, he served as Global Process Technology Director, Specialty Materials Coatings at Rohm and Haas Co. where he led Specialty Materials Process Technology for five businesses with total revenue of $4 billion.
