Industry experts have designed an interactive two-day program to meet the technical needs of electrocoaters and those interested in learning more about the industry. At this event, taking place at the Isle Hotel & Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf, Iowa, on Sept. 20-21, 2022, attendees will review the basics before taking a deeper dive into cost and process efficiencies, quality control, troubleshooting, and innovative technology. Attendees will walk away with ideas and strategies for improving their own systems.
To enhance the learning experience, The Electrocoat Association invites attendees to a complimentary tour of the John Deere Harvester Works (JDHW) facility. This cathodic electrocoat system consists of a 10-stage immersion zinc phosphate pretreatment process followed by a three-stage painting process (one electrocoat tank and two post rinses). The electrocoat paint system is managed by six indexing cranes that transport part loads through the various stages.
Additionally, there will be a “Meet the Speakers” networking reception held onsite on the first day of the event. This reception provides an opportunity to interact with industry leaders about your system and process or network with attendees over complimentary cocktails and snacks.
