American Chemical Solutions (ACS), a global custom chemical manufacturer, announced the addition of two industry executives to its team: Robert E. Gaston is joining the organization as engineering lead, and Jeffery S. Diercks will serve as business development manager.
“This is an exciting time at American Chemical Solutions, as we continue to expand our services in support of our customers seeking supply chain security,” said Todd Zahn, president and CEO of American Chemical Solutions. “We are excited to welcome Rob Gaston and Jeff Diercks to our team. Rob and Jeff come to ACS with deep industry experience, and will further accelerate the ongoing transformation of our company into a best-in-class custom chemical manufacturer, providing safe and reliable operations that meet our customers’ needs.”
As engineering lead, Gaston will oversee the development and implementation of ACS manufacturing and engineering strategies, and will work in partnership with ACS customers to meet their technical needs. Gaston comes to ACS with over three decades of experience, most recently serving as senior process engineer for Georgia-Pacific Chemicals.
Diercks brings over 40 years of chemical industry sales experience to ACS, having spent the last decade working in the specialty chemical tolling market. Diercks will support the organization in the toll manufacturing business, focusing on developing new business and expanding ACS’s footprint across the market.
Diercks and Gaston are just the latest hires for ACS. The company recently announced the addition of Todd Monette as vice president of operations, and the appointment of Jeremy Venter, Ph.D., as chairman of the board of directors.
