PPG has completed a COLORFUL COMMUNITIES® project at the Bodindecha (Sing Singhaseni), Samutprakarn School in Samutprakarn, Thailand. The project brought together 52 PPG volunteers who spent 156 hours on the school’s sports ground. PPG provided more than $11,500 (440,000 baht) in products and services to assist with the project, including 38 gallons (144 liters) of PPG SIGMACOVER® epoxy paint for the sports ground. In addition, PPG donated sports equipment and delivered sports kits to the students. The Bodindecha (Sing Singhaseni), Samutprakarn School has over 1,900 elementary and high school students, many of whom are from poor families.

“I would like to thank PPG management and volunteers for supporting our school,” said Chalin Silapasomsakdi, headteacher of the Bodindecha (Sing Singhaseni), Samutprakarn School. “This great activity benefits everyone in the school, especially our students. It is our goal to make them healthy, and this is easier now that the school sports ground is bright and attractive.”

“I am pleased to see this Colorful Community Project in Thailand completed,” said Kongsak Pornsuttijunya, PPG country manager, Thailand and general manager, Packaging Coatings. “We beautified the campus with our products and our hands to provide a better environment for the faculty and students. We are proud to see PPG contributing to the community.”
