IST Opens New Sales and Service Center in Southeast Asia

IST (Italia Sistemi Tecnologici S.p.A.) has announced the opening of IST Asia, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The new branch, located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was celebrated with an IST-hosted training conference aimed at its regional agents and distributors, with several leaders from IST Europe flying in specifically to mark the event.
“This is a very proud moment for us as IST expands its reach to this populous geographical region in Asia,” said Massimiliano Mingacci, global sales and marketing manager of IST. “As well as being an economic powerhouse, Southeast Asia is one of the most culturally diverse regions of the world, and due to already having a considerable database of clients here, it was strategically important for us to open a local presence with a local sales and service team.”
As IST Asia welcomed new recruits to its office, IST Europe too recently welcomed a new Luigi Improta, as its new production manager to be based in Modena, Italy.
“Our investment in IST Asia is proof of IST’s economic strength and commercial viability and marks a significant juncture for IST as a whole,” said Roberto Guerra, Director of IST SpA. “The organization is growing and expanding, with high aims set for the near future, China and the United States may well be on the cards for 2024, so be on the lookout for IST.”
