Fresh Coat Painters Announces Lisa Hudson as New Brand President

Fresh Coat Painters, the residential and commercial painting franchise under the Strategic Franchising Systems umbrella, is delighted to announce the elevation of Lisa Hudson to the position of Brand President.

A distinguished leader in the franchise industry, Hudson brings over 30 years of comprehensive experience to her new role within the company. “Throughout my entire career, one common thread is that I’ve always been a servant leader—I’m always asking about the journey of the customer and putting myself in the franchisees’ shoes,” Hudson said. “It's not about what we want as a franchisor, it’s about helping franchisees grow their businesses.”

Hudson’s career began at Macy's, where over 26 years she led store teams to achieve significant sales goals, from $10M to $72M, and spearheaded major leadership programs nationally and regionally. Her expertise in team coaching and executive leadership continued to evolve, providing a solid base for her future roles.

In 2015, Hudson joined The Growth Coach, a business coaching franchise within Strategic Franchising Systems, where she started as a franchise owner and eventually rose to President of Franchise Development. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she provided pivotal leadership and support to franchisees.

Her journey also included a tenure at Lysse New York, a women's fashion brand, where she further established her leadership versatility. Returning to the Strategic Franchising System as the Executive Vice President of Fresh Coat Painters last year, Hudson significantly impacted the organization by leading a 27-person team and focusing on strategy, process improvement and accountability.

“You buy a franchise because you want to invest in a system,” Hudson said. “We support the franchise journey and keep them on track in following the system through coaching times and both regional and national conferences. I have been a franchisee, so I understand what they need to succeed and drive profitability.”

In her role as Brand President, Hudson is set to propel Fresh Coat Painters toward significant growth, focusing on network strengthening, service enhancement, and impactful support for both customers and franchise owners. The brand is actively expanding in multiple U.S. states, seeking to support and grow with passionate entrepreneurs.
