Tnemec Company, Inc. has officially opened online voting for its 2024 Tank of the Year contest.  Voting is open until October 18, with only one vote allowed per person. The tank with the most votes will receive the People’s Choice title and automatically become a finalist for Tank of the Year.

“This year’s contest is shaping up to be another record-breaking event. Not only do we have a large number of nominations, but the variety of construction styles from across North America demonstrates the overall popularity of the contest,” said Brian Cheshire, director of the Water Tank Market at Tnemec. “It’s always exciting to see the levels of creativity and pride communities bring to their entries.”

Once voting closes, Tnemec’s team of tank enthusiasts will select 11 additional finalists. These tanks, along with the People’s Choice winner, will appear in Tnemec’s 2025 water tank calendar. The final Tank of the Year winner will be announced on October 25, and will be prominently featured in the January spot of the calendar.

“This contest highlights how a water tank, an essential part of a community’s infrastructure, can also serve as a symbol of pride and artistry,” Cheshire added. “We can’t wait to see the creative submissions and the enthusiasm that the contest sparks each year.”
