After receiving over 17,000 votes from tank enthusiasts across the country, College Station, Texas, has been awarded the 2024 People's Choice Award in the Tnemec Tank of the Year competition. With over 320 tanks in the running, the winning tank on Greens Prairie Road stood out for its impressive rehabilitation by O & J Coatings and engineering expertise from Dunham Engineering.

The elevated storage tank reflects the spirit of the community, with artwork selected through a local competition involving input from College Station residents. The design captures the pride and unity of this Texas city, home to Texas A&M University, which is renowned for its academic excellence and southern hospitality.

The water tank, essential for the city’s infrastructure, is now a symbol of the area's growth and innovation, showcasing both functionality and artistic expression.
