The ChemQuest Group is announcing the appointment of two new directors, Ty Dawson and Meghan Patel to its Operational Excellence business pillar. The company is a global consulting firm that provides business strategy, technology acceleration, market intelligence and M&A advisory services for the specialty materials industry.
Dawson and Patel will be responsible for supporting ChemQuest’s clients in identifying, implementing and sustaining improvements in manufacturing processes and production. The company’s Operational Excellence business pillar is focused on helping clients achieve these goals.
Dawson brings a wealth of experience in global P&L management, strategic leadership, operations and innovation within B2B value chains. He has held leadership roles at companies such as Timken and Milliken & Co., where he successfully drove growth through strategy, M&A and operational efficiency initiatives. Most recently, Dawson served as CEO of Rugged Solutions America, where he led the company’s expansion through strategic acquisitions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Valparaiso University and a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Patel comes with a strong background in operational and safety excellence, program management, continuous improvement and sales. She has held roles at companies such as Grote & Hartmann, Irvin Automotive and Guilford Performance Textiles. Most recently, Patel served as business supply chain and continuous improvement manager for Milliken & Co. Performance Solutions. She is a Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Grand Valley State University.
In their new roles, Dawson and Patel will work closely with ChemQuest’s clients to help them achieve their operational excellence goals. The company’s CEO Daniel Murad expressed his excitement about the new appointments and the value that Dawson and Patel will bring to the team.
