Coating Camp to Host First American Event in Chicago
The Coating Camp, in partnership with Axalta, PPG, Sherwin-Williams, Kluthe, Wagner Group and Rösler, will host its inaugural American Special Surface Treatment Course in Chicago on May 13–14, 2025. The event will take place at the Hampton Inn & Suites Downers Grove Chicago and is designed for coatings professionals seeking foundational knowledge and practical insights into surface treatment processes.
The two-day intensive program will run from 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14. It features a comprehensive lineup of training sessions covering mechanical and chemical pretreatment, e-coating, liquid coatings, powder coatings and the latest technologies in the industry. Sessions will emphasize practical examples, problem-solving methods and best practices shared by global industry leaders.
The event will open with an overview of the training sessions and include hands-on exercises tailored to professionals at all levels, from beginners and quality team members to engineers and seasoned experts. A networking dinner will be held on the first evening, providing attendees the opportunity to connect with peers and industry leaders.
The program concludes on May 14 with a summary of key learnings and closing remarks.
