Munson Machinery introduced a rotating drum screen designed to remove solids from industrial and municipal waste or process streams. Model 24-RDS-24 features a 24 in. diameter by 24 in. long rotating cylinder with 0.08 in. wedge-wire screening, driven by a ¾ HP wash-down duty motor and variable-speed control. The design allows gravity drainage of solids and internal flow concentration to prevent screen blinding. Apertures range from 0.010 to 0.100 in., with optional spray lines for greasy or fibrous materials. Models are available in multiple sizes, with throughput up to 4,650 gal/min. The unit supports applications in wastewater treatment, food processing, pulp and paper, and equipment cleaning.
