Evonik launched four new AERODISP® dispersions designed to improve waterborne inkjet ink receptive coatings by enhancing dot sharpness and resolution. Based on SiO₂ or Al₂O₃ particles, the new dispersions help control ink spreading and fixation for high-quality digital printing. The portfolio includes both anionic and cationic options for compatibility across various binder systems and applications such as food packaging, decorative printing, and textiles. The products are easy to incorporate with simple stirring and offer flexibility in formulating inkjet primers. Options include AERODISP® WR 8520 and W 7520 WF (anionic), and WK 7330 and W 630 (cationic). The alumina-based W 630 also provides high transparency for specialty coatings.
