California Sports Surfaces, part of ICP Group, supported a playground resurfacing project in Senegal using its Rebound Ace® Synpave system. The initiative was a collaboration with German distribution partner AV Syntec and local community organizations.

The project transformed a challenging paved substrate into a vibrant play area by applying Rebound Ace® Sports & Rec as a basecoat, followed by an acrylic filler and a Synpave topcoat. The system was selected for its UV resistance, surface longevity, and performance in harsh climates.

“This was an amazing project, and we jumped at the opportunity to participate,” said Caroline Field, vice president and general manager, Australia and Asia Pacific, California Sports Surfaces. “Our representatives witnessed the joy of the children using their new playground—and that’s the kind of impact we hope to have.”
