ACTEGA has merged its German operating companies—ACTEGA DS GmbH, ACTEGA Rhenania GmbH and ACTEGA Terra GmbH—into its former parent company, ACTEGA GmbH. The merger forms a single legal entity with realigned organizational structures aimed at fostering closer cross-location collaboration and improved knowledge sharing.

According to Thorsten Kröller, president of ACTEGA and chairman of the management board, the unified structure will strengthen innovation capabilities and streamline customer support without changing existing points of contact. Each site will continue to build on its specialized strengths while contributing to a more cohesive operational framework.

Dr. Wolfgang Josten, managing director of ACTEGA GmbH, noted that the joint planning process has already cultivated stronger internal cooperation across the locations.

ACTEGA is a division of ALTANA, developing specialty coatings, inks, adhesives and sealing compounds for the packaging industry, with facilities across Europe, the Americas and China.
