PPG recently presented a range of coatings technologies and digital tools at its global Coatings Innovation Center in Allison Park, Pennsylvania. The event, held for members of the analyst community, focused on product advancements designed to improve customer productivity and support organic growth.

• A low-temperature electrocoat, which lowers customer costs while maintaining efficiency

• STEELGUARD™ 951, a fire protection coating for steelwork that enhances durability and application flexibility

• NUTRISHIELD® MAX, non-BPA internal coatings for metal packaging, optimized for foods with challenging properties

• A water-based architectural portfolio, supporting leading brand positions across more than 15 countries

• SIGMAGLIDE® 2390, a marine coating that helps prevent fouling and supports vessel performance and sustainability

• PPG LINQ™, a digital ecosystem for automotive refinish shops to improve profitability and sustainability

• An expanded powder coatings platform, with durability and aesthetics for automotive, industrial, architectural and consumer products

PPG defines “sustainably advantaged” products using an internal framework aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on environmental improvements or performance above industry benchmarks.
