OXERRA announced the groundbreaking of a 120,000-square-foot warehouse at its Augusta, Georgia, facility, located at 1895 Doug Barnard Parkway. The project represents a major investment in U.S. operations and will establish a fully owned regional distribution center to support a growing customer base.
Scheduled for completion in January 2026, the expansion aims to improve flexibility, supply chain reliability and service levels across the region.
“Our Augusta team plays a critical role in serving the needs of our customers,” said Kevin Miles, CEO of OXERRA Americas. “This strategically located distribution center reflects our continued investment in the U.S. market and our commitment to providing the highest level of service.”
The warehouse will feature energy-efficient interior lighting, eco-friendly materials and pervious pavers in portions of the parking lot to reduce runoff and aid groundwater recharge. Solar energy systems are also planned for installation. The company is targeting LEED certification for the project.
OXERRA’s Augusta site will remain operational throughout construction. The project is led by Meridian Design Build.
