Rugged UV LED System Targets Harsh Industrial Environments

Excelitas introduced the Phoseon FireLine FL400-i, a UV LED curing system designed for harsh environments such as pipe and metal coatings. Built on the FireLine FL400 platform, the FL400-i features a rugged IP66-rated enclosure with upgraded window sealing, robust endcaps, and optional sacrificial glass to protect optical components. It supports analog, RS485, and Modbus TCP control protocols and includes straight or barbed water fittings and CDA ports for managing condensation in high-heat settings. The system delivers uniform UV output using patented SLM array and cooling technologies and is mercury- and ozone-free for safer operation.
